Saved up around £400 for new stuff for my computer was going to get
FX 8350 (current is radeon 3870 3 GHZ)
A3 motherboard
windows 7 OS
New monitor
However I managed to Get a card with HDMI and used it with my tv however i cant get it to 1920X1080 on it every time i put it to that it widens picture and looks less brighter anyone know how to fix this problem or do I have to get an actual monitor for that to work.

Yeah HDTVs are not ideal for PCs. Try messing around with the TV's buttons, aspect ratio must be 16:9 (probably).
There are OEM versions of Windows 7 you can buy for around 80 dollars.
