Hello Escapians, my speakers are on their last legs and I was wondering what I should get to replace them. Anyone know of some good sound quality speakers? Perhaps with bass?

How much you willing to spend?

Since here [http://wize.com/computer-speakers/t8016-bass] has some sexy looking ones but the price goes pretty high.

Also check out Which [http://www.which.co.uk/technology/computing/reviews/computer-speakers/?source_code=610CQJ&CMP=KNC-GOOGLE&_$ja=kw:top+rated+computer+speakers|cgn:pPCPM||Technology||Computing||Computer+Speakers||Search||Top+Ten+Computer+Speakers|cgid:1448916071|tsid:21615|cn:pPCPM||Technology||Computing||Computer+Speakers||Search|cid:48121871|lid:146955259|mt:Broad|nw:search|crid:6264074921], they give good advice.

I got a set of logotech one for my PS3 for £50 (but they are primarily computer speakers). From what I can gether as a brand you can't go wrong with any Logitech speakers if you are on a budget.

If your looking for something under 200$, I suggest some logitech stereo speakers with a decent sized subwoofer. If your looking for quality regardless of price, go find a Bose rig; they deliver great sound quality and lots of volume for their size.

Oh I though this thread died, I'm glad it didn't.

They're probably gonna be a present for Christmas so they're allowed to be a little pricey.

I was thinking the Logitech X-540 [http://www.logitech.com/en-gb/speakers-audio/home-pc-speakers/devices/234] but a friend of mine recommended the Bose Companion 3 Series II and I'm kinda stumped about which one to choose.

Please, Escapiscopalians.

Unless you're an audiophile, you can go really cheap and be totally fine. My speakers cost eleven bucks.

Well Bose do have sexy sound quality (my iPod headphones are Bose and they are fucking awesome), but the logitec ones do look better imo :p If aesthetics bother you, I think the Bose ones look a bit weird.

I don't think it really matters to be honest, I use some crap old Dell ones on this laptop and they sound fine to me.
