I'm just wondering how good these specs are as I'm kind of new at this and how well they'll be for playing games and at what settings, thanks in advance.
I'm wanting to be able to play strategy games like Civ V and some others games such as Garry's Mod and Day Z standalone (when it's released).

Processor (CPU)
AMD A6-3670K Quad Core APU (2.7GHz) & Radeon? HD 6530D Graphics

Motherboard
ASUS® F1A55-M LK R2.0: FM1 A-SERIES, SATA 3.0GB/s, Windows 8 Ready!

Memory (RAM)
4GB SAMSUNG DUAL-DDR3 1333MHz (1 X 4GB)

Graphics Card
2GB NVIDIA GEFORCE GTX 650 - DVI, mHDMI, VGA - 3D Vision Ready

There is a few problems with those components. The main one being why would you combine an AMD APU with a Nvidia graphics card? And why only single channel memory?

Are you building a computer yourself? If so I can recommend some better parts to get.

In that case I'll just list some good specs.

CPU: go with an intel i5

GPU: GTX 660 or HD7850 are both good choices

Mobo: If you plan to ever overclock then you will need a Z77 mobo. If not a H77 board will suffice.

RAM: Go with 8GB dual channel. RAM is fairly cheap these days.

Go with windows 7. It's the better operating system at the moment

Go with windows 7. It's the better operating system at the moment

Up to you. They're the same exact thing except that Windows 8 has the Metro interface. Other than that, there is no difference as long as you get a 64 bit version of whatever Windows you're planning you use.

Other than that, the only thing I came to recommend is to grab any i5 with a K at the end (ie, i5-3570K) as those processors will allow you to overclock, which is something you may want to look into. The build that Shiny Charizard recommended is really good.

Why not a GTX 660 Ti or a 670?

I'm assuming some budget restraints based on listed specs so far so that's why I recommended those two cards

Yes you can. However if you are going to do that you might as well just get a faster dedicated CPU. The idea of the AMD APU is to have a decent CPU and GPU in one easy package. Which you can then combine with a dedicated AMD GPU if you want better performance. Getting a Nvidia GPU really does render it mostly pointless.

Yes the 7770 is a bit more powerful than the gtx 650. As for the power supply you should go with 500w at minimum, anything more than 650w will be unnecessary though. Also I highly recommend going with a GTX 660 as a minimum if you can fit it in the budget.

Okay good thing I realized to upgrade the psu before I ordered it. I'll probably upgrade the computer eventually when I have some extra money, either later this year or early next year.

The website says that I will only need the 450w for these specs, any idea why?
