Bungie is done with the series and moving on to new projects. They sold the rights to Microsoft which made the group 343 industries out of a bunch of ex-bungie staff. 343 is going to be in charge of the Halo games from now on.

I think it would be an awesome easter egg. The stuff like the RvB cameos in Halo 3 with their "password" skits and stuff like the tribute room in Reach have always been fun little additions that I loved about Bungie. Would be nice to see 343i continue that tradition.
