Concern with tales games

Back in the gamecube era I was one of about 5 people in the UK who bought tales of Symphonia. I really enjoyed it, all the plot twists, the chracters, the combat, everything about it. But I'm concerened about buying other tales games. Are they more of the same or are they significantly different for me to invest in?

Well, Vesperia is arguably the best in the series...so...I'd say that it's improving.

They are all about the same. Just avoid the Tales of the World games on PSP until you've played the rest. It linked all the characters together.

Tales of Vesperia -> Great
Tales of Legendia -> Boo! Very Bad! Avoid Avoid Avoid!

The question is do you want a game to be the same as Symphonia or different? The Tales series is kinda like Final Fantasy; the games use similar styles and themes, but each one has it's own unique flavor.

The ending of Legendia made me cry and felt like it ending on a touching moment but thats just how I felt. Also I like Jay making Moses jokes...hey could someone make a fourm around making Moses jokes please
