Has anyone been affected by this worm or know anyone who has? I don't, and it was supposed to be a big deal. I really have seen no effect. I know a lot of people thought this was a hoax.

I haven't heard about anyone getting it either. I'm not saying it doesn't exist, but this whole "mass activation on April Fool's Day" thing may be made up.

It does exist, but it did not do what is supposed to. Im not sure the effects it has on your computer now but today the code was supposed to change and and steel personal information and such. as you can see nothing like that happened so far but i guess it still could, microsoft is offering a 200,000$ reward for who ever wrote the worm but i dont think anything will turn up. The worm its self cant even get in touch with home to deposit information or update. we will just have to wait and see.
