I think its because of how censorship and ratings change over time, although the hilarious censorship was what made me laugh so hard at all of the dialogue initially, so I didn't notice.Antiparticle said:Yeah, it's strange and funny in a bad way how the Xbox port of the game is actually more censored than the original Nintendo 64 version. I still dunno wtf is up with that.
But anywho, I adored KBFD, just because of how outlandish it was. How many other games let you run around as a red squirrel shooting zombies in a suit with that snazzy hat, or drink gallons of alkamahol at once and piss out flaming imp guys, seriously! All of the crazy ideas and references in that game made it unique and fun. And while the multiplayer was buggy as hell, think about it, they had bots. Who could forget running around with a chainsaw and cutting through legions of squirrels or tediz, grabbing the canister, then stumbling down to the sewers and watching everyone scramble down there.
The game was brilliant, naughty, and altogether too much fun. I have no idea why they remade it and trashed the origional multiplayer, but the "new" multiplayer was a great deal of fun too, and if you got the right group of people together, it could be rather epic.
Sneeker is still the coolest thing I've ever seen. If only he had a shotgun...
