Connecting to a wireless network issues.

Ok Escapist heres my problem, my laptop is not detecting the local wireless network, but it can still see every other nearby networks. The laptop can still connect to the network but only by ethernet cable. Every other internet capable device that I own can still detect and connect to said wireless network.

If anyone has any ideas that can solve this that would be awesome, thanks!

EDIT: I have also tried resetting both the laptop and the router multiple times.

the router probably hasnt got SSID set to broadcast, which is basically the router saying to wireless devices "HEY GUIZE! I'M RIGHT HERE!!"

If its disabled, you wont be able to scan and find it.

and since I just noticed you said others can connect; have you tried directly connecting to it wireless using the IP or Ping it??
