Ok this is just the ramblings of a madman but hear me out,I was thinking last night about how in the first mass effect game conrad verner was eager to become a spectre,It would never happen,he's too stupid.
However he could still become a poster boy for the alliance right?
Think about it,he's eager,he's extremely gullible and easy to manipulate so he'd be easy to control.

I can imagine conrad on posters doing the whole "Helmet under your arm, looking into the distance" propaganda.I think it would be quite funny.Especially if they overdid the american kind of thing and really cheesed it up.
Lots of alliance flags and old timey "do your part for the alliance" propaganda.

What do you think? Is conrad an unsung hero or just a pillock?

He's a patriotic guy who is easily mislead. His heart is usually in the right place, just not his brain.

He is a metaphor for perfect people in a government point of view, he idolises military life and is easily manipulated.

Also in my game I went paragon and asked him to not become a soldier, in two he claimed I "shoved a gun in his face", when did that happen?

- Why would they use him? He is a nobody after all. They would go for a vet or at least someone worthy to draw in the other fools -

I'd just like to think the other vets would see through it all and not agree, conrad would see this as a chance to live his dream of being a spectre.

scratch that - not a spectre but as a spacefaring all american hero*
