I use the headset gioteck EX-05 military style headset and about 3 days ago the mic didnt work. It still puts sound through the headphones but the mic simply does not work. I have checked all connections and everything is correct plus it was and is completely unchanged from when it was working. I havent done anything to damage it and it is only a month old. This has happened before with this exact same model and I simply managed to get it replaced though they did mention these headsets were unreliable. My problem is that I bought it from GAME which is in administration, some stores are still open however given the businesses state im not sure if I will be able to egt a refund or even a replacement. I would like some advice on either how to fix this problem if someone else has also encountered it and/or what should I do if I cannot get a refund. Also could someone please tell me of a reliable headset for xbox which costs under £50. If yuo can help in anyway thank you. Also please quote me so I see you if im not clear in my problems/needs.
