My "opinion" is they are all good in thier own ways.

You want a serious gaming machine, X-Box.
You want a family or party machine, Wii.
You want an entertainment system, PS3.

Being a more casual gamer and a serious movie buff, PS3 was the only choice for me. My best friend on the other hand is a hardcore gamer, so he owns the 360 and Wii, and though he says he loves them both equally, he plays the 360 about a thousand times more than his Wii.

If I had to choose, I'd say Wii just because I don't want a work-out, I just want to relax. Plus it's got the worst selection of games, especially since I don't have children to play it with.

I mean, Nintendo marketed all of their products to retarded parents who want to drag their kids away from their soccer teams to play stupid 5 minute games that they will grow bored of in 2 days. And once people become aware of how MANY crappy little games Nintendo keeps releasing, their fan-base will diminish increasingly........wait

They seem to have the mind-set of the bank CEOs that everyone hate right now: They have no long-term plans, only rack up money from stupid parents now and stupid commercials about how awesome, amazing, and gaming break-throughs their stupid "Chop the carrot, lean to the left" games are.

Don't really like consoles in general, but I own all the next-gen consoles, and out of them, the 360 is the best. The price of a game per year is a good deal considering you're getting the best console online system which is out!

PS3 is quite, I'm not sure about the Wii. As for the Xbox 360 that is definitely way to loud. Although, form time to time my PS3 does get a bit louder than I would like it to. My friends computer is louder than all of the consoles put together though.

360, any console designed to fail from the get go is a bad idea.

I however hate the original atari the most, pretty much because it's games required moon logic to play.

They placed heat sensitive parts right next to the hottest part of the console, as well as being well aware of PROD before release.

First of all, the xbox online store doesn't cost to browse. You can browse using Silver Membership, which is free... Oh, unless you're counting internet costs as costs to use the store... In which case PS3 online costs money too, so enjoy that.
Secondly, if you seriously think the Wii is better than the xbox in ANY way, you're going to be classed as a Nintendo fanboy. I'm not saying the Wii is bad, it's just not as good as the xbox.

Oh yeah, what the hell is the point of having blu-ray on the PS3? Sure, it's bigger than DVD, but it's slower to load from, so you'll end up having to copy a lot of the data to make it able to load from two separate areas; which makes most of the space redundant.

I used ps3 home and store as an example. There is nothing on xbox live or whatever anythiung like it...and there never will be because it would be useless as people would have to pay for it. What's that? sounds like your argument is going to shit....

Well, its the principle of it. Think. Microsoft-a COMPUTER company, who sell COMPUTERS and online services and softweare etc., makng a console for online and making it cost extra for the online capability, the whole point of it and the livelihood of the fans and community. It simply dosnt make sense as a marketing option. It does not cost on any other console, so why are microsoft taking the community out of next generation?
