Console Wars: DMZ

You know, I'm really, really tired of fanboys on all sides using the same tired arguments like "KILLZONE SUX LOL" or "Halo is gay" or whatever.

I own a PS3. I used to own a 360, but it RROD'd on me, so bye-bye to it, but I had fun while I had it. However, I must admit that I dislike the Wii, but only because I consider it a bad thing for gaming in general (not wanting to sound elitist).

So, you know... can't we all just get along?

Get along? Nah. There are level-headed people who can (for example, i'm a PC gamer - but like Ratchet & Clank, can appreciate chainsaw duels of Gears Of War 2, and can even see the appeal of the Wii). Unfortunately, the majority does not want to.

HOWEVER,

how about an actual DMZ for console wars? I'm sure we can do something with this idea.

It would be wonderful to have a DMZ, but while a large portion of people on this forum would likely be ok with that, I do think that their will be even hotheaded idiots to just destabilize the whole thing just to be pricks.

You know, I would in a small way love to see a discussion thread on Why halo is good or bad, the problem is that we all know it just wouldn't happen and that their will be too many people screaming like little children for attention.

The only way I can concieve of having a DMZ is more like an elitist zone where you don't get replied to if your just being a crazy rabid idiot.

AH! That is also the first thing I thought of when I saw "DMZ". Amazing game that is.

Anyways, I try to be unbiased by spamming my unbiased facts thingamajig all over these types of threads. So far it's worked as far as I can tell.

personally i'd love to have a 360 for some of it's fun games... splinter cell conviction, fable 3 to name a few. i own a PS3 with GTA4, Way of the Samurai3 and AC2. so maybe it's not the best choices in games, but at least they are nice to have fun with, and the Wii would only be good if i had the absolute need for a Mario Galaxy game XD

I own an Xbox 360 and I want a PS3. Xbox Live is the worst community I've ever had the pleasure of playing with, and Xbox Live charges for EVERYTHING. It's 800G just to change your NAME.
I've been really wanting to play MAG and Heavy Rain as well.

I have a ps3 and a 360. I like both. I used to be a playstation fan boy, but I grew out of it. I'll still buy all cross platform games for my ps3 though.
