CONTAGIOUS Cancer

I've been researching cancer, specifically contagious cancer as a part of my parasitology revision and I stumbled across an article that summarises a lot of the developments in knowledge of contagious cancer from the last 15 or years. I already knew about the cancer wiping out the tasmanian devil, but the article provides much more in-depth coverage of the topic of cancer as a transmissible pathogen. Its an interesting read:

In the future (say 25 years from now) we can catch "teh kansirz" from this little thing..

All it has to do is lick you. Would you kick it for 'teh lulz'?

1. SciFi film called "Internal Eruption" (dont think about it too long), where all the cats and animals have a deadly cancer and neurotoxin in their breath only fatal to humans. Mmmm, on second thought maybe it should be titled '28 months Later'

2. Ducks that can give you cancer by quacking at you in a 10 mile radius through the air.
