X-Box Live!

I had two profiles, one was for both myself and my wife and the other was solely mine, when decided to make mine a 'live' account I did it through the inter-webs. No Worky!

They created a new account for me that would not recognize my profile as being live and I didn't realize it.

My account wouldn't show as being 'live' so I 'retrieved' my account and it loaded as a brand effing new profile with no achievements or records DELETING MY OLD INFO!...

Thats when I threw my controller across the room (luckily in to the sofa cushion) and put my foot through what I now know is a Balsa wood door on my entertainment center. Oh, and I kicked my sons stuffed dog, the only stuffed animal I've ever seen that couldn't take a nice kicking with out ripping at the seam.

Turns out my account was not deleted, I just had two accounts with the same name. =]

And my sister took the fall for the door when she accidentally kicked it while Sing Staring =D

P.S. Ever tried to delete a Microsoft Live account? You can't.

Oh i almost forgot (sorry for hogging topic, but i have a lot of game i get pissed off with)

Super Mario Galaxy.
I had gotten to the LAST star before I had 120, and unlocked luigi so i could get 120 again, then unlock the last galaxy (and get the final two stars). I was so pleased with myself for having gotten this far.
The level I had chosen to do last was the One-hit-point challenge (or whatever it's called) in the fire galaxy (forgotten names of EVERYTHING).

It took me about 2 days (that's wake up at 11, play till 4) to do it. I had many "JUST FUCK OFF YOU STUPID GAME" moments. Unfortunately you can't throw a wiimote when it is strapped to your wrist, so i simply turned the console off.

In the wise words of Ben Croshaw-"Fuck that".

Pretty much every game I play (unless its piss easy).
Mainly because I have a shitty self image which has me constantly berating myself for being unable to do anything right (regardless of whether this is true or not). As such, when I sit down to play a game and supposedly relax, it pisses me off to find yet another thing I suck at.

As a recent example. Smash Bros Brawl, 15 min Brawl. I've maybe gotten up to the 5-2 min mark once. Now no matter how many times I try, or experiment with different characters, I always fuck up not long after the 10 min mark.
The worst part is when its something cheap like a bob-omb or something that I got pushed onto.
Hehe, I managed to get 13 minutes 20 seconds. By the end, Lucario was on 500%-i could stand there and just ordinary melee someone, and they would fly off. One enemy managed to gte to me-I was using his UP(hold) melee, where he makes an arc with his foot, and things just can't miss it. My finger slipped off the button, and in the one second that it took me to press the block button so I cvould re-configure my fingers, an enemy punched Lucario square in the stomach. It took me like 10 seconds to realise I had been beat.

After this i gave up. I got very close and that's good enough for me
I wish it were a case of good enough. Unfortunately, almost beating it doesn't unlock the achievement thingie.

Yeh unfortunately. But that achievement thingy against my sanity is a reasonable price to pay, I thinks.

The developers of Lost Odyssey thought it would be a good idea to have two boss fights back to back. The second one is timed. There are no save points between them.

Seth in Street Fighter IV

Me: "Oh noes, here comes Seth, I've heard so many things about him! The horror!" I defeat him and think "Everyone else is whining and bitching, I could win this with one finger!" Seth gets up, pulls superpowers out of ass and kicks my butt 20 cockgargling times. Fucking *****.

Ace Combat 6, because my copy was glitched and didn't recognise that I had not only killed every necessary enemy, but also every other enemy just in case. Damn you!

Gears of War. Fenix Manor. Insane.

Any Mario Kart where you got hit by a sequence of cheap moves close to the finish-line.

Any forced stealth, especially in the Gerudo place in Ocarina of Time. There's alot actually in that game that's broken, really. But the most frustrating parts are bosses you have to reflect attacks bck to them... and getting Epona... and the "games" to get bigger equipment.

Whenever people don't use the search bar.
Whenever some mechanic in Mirror's Edge didn't work like it was supposed to, I got extremely frustrated. The game is fun, and very satisfying when your practice pays off and you complete a perfect run through a level with all sorts of batshit insane parkour moves, but when, say, a security guard blocks my jumping kick by smacking me with his rifle and I'm then torn apart by bullets, I confess that I very much want to punch someone.

Also? See any Mario Kart game for as many of these moments as you could possibly want.
"I'm 1st, I'm 1st, I'm 1st, I'm 1st, I- GOD DAMNIT RED SHELL."
Fuck you, Rainbow Road [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FuX5_OWObA0]. Fuck you to hell.

Mmmm, I've had a couple of songs in GH and Rock Band that I haven't beaten on expert after about 500 tries. Then comes the controller smashes. Poor GH controller :( You will be missed.

My friend tried to play that and he threw his control against the wall in his room. It shattered and left a big chunk embedded in the wall, it is still there today and I laugh every time I see it.

The rail shooter sequence in Jak 2 on the strip mine. Also the rail shooter sequence in Jak 3 when you defend spargus city.

As much as I respect Naughty Dog, if they put rail shooter sequences in uncharted 2, they're on my list.
Seconded, I think any game where they suddenly force you into a new control system. I just finished Kingdom Hearts 2 with fairly high blood pressure, the final boss sequence introduces THREE new control systems and on Proud Mode...,lkmnwlrkiuQEWHAKJIUHQ;L3ORIUY[PR0WehyQWEe ¬_¬

Surprisingly, the only one of my controllers that has remained intact is my Playstation controller, which is well over a decade old now whereas my PS2 controller is made from about 10 other controllers different parts taped (literally) together.

-Most Final Fanstasy random encounters where they keep poping up and you have like 3 health per character.
-Racing games.
-FPS where the computer can see you from space and can put the bullet up your nose from Jupiter and you can't een know they are there.
-Most MMO's and Online FPS where the fanboys play for like 8 hours a day and the casual gamer in us has no chance in hell of winning. I'm looking at your Counter Strike....

I was feeling a bit masochistic one day, so I decided to play through CoD2 on Veteran. It all went suprisingly well until one mission in the British campaign. Your convoi gets ambushed and Germans appear on the roofs around you. You had no cover, the vehicles in the alley were very likely to explode and on veteran you can take as much as 2 bullets before dying while all the Germans had magical heat seaking bullets combined with an endless supply of instant-kill-grenades which they were throwing around like waterballons at a pool party. By the time I got past that part I could recite every goddamn quote the game throws at you on the death screen.

A bit later in the American campaign, you had to hold the line with your back to a cliff for 5 minutes. I used my usual tactic (aka hide in the corner of a bunker and shoot the occasionally showing up bad guys while my AI squad mates absorb all the bullets). The game threw in a checkpoint at about 1:30, as well as a massive wave of enemies. After many tries i finally made it through and decided to leave my hiding places and look at the incoming reinforcements(note the timer was already at 0:00 and the victory theme had already kicked in) And then ONE GUY WITH A BOLTRIFLE, WHO I DIDNT NOTICE, KILLED ME NANO SECONDS BEFORE THE FINAL SAVE POINT. Boy, was i pissed.

I've got one a little obscure- GTA: Vice City Stories for the PSP. Actually quite an entertaining game, particularly working security for a Phil Collins concert -rotflmao!!!! But the last stage has a difficulty curve that can guarantee you'll be playing the game for at least 2 more hours.

The senario- your safe house gets blown up by the boss in his limo from acroos the street. Your brother hops on a bike as soon as the cutscene ends and takes off after him. Now, usually you've got your choice of bike or car, but sometimes the explosion randomly destroys the car. So, now you've got to follow your brother on the bike (don't fall off, or its game over). You go half way through the whole city when your brother gets knocked off his bike. At this point, your forced to take the bike to follow the limo yourself, all the while having molitov cocktails thrown at you through the other half of the city. Don't fall off... don't fall off... BOOM!!! I'm dead. At least there was a checkpoint when my brother fell off his bike....right? Nope. Taxi it back to the start of the mission- no checkpoint! house blows up and were both off yet again. Made the end of the game quite fufilling, but I almost broke my PSP in the process.
