Anyone here ever attend any conventions? If so how many, what type (Example: Anime, Gaming, Comic-Con, any type of con), How many and did you enjoy them? What did you do there?

I attended Ohayocon in Ohio over the weekend. It was an anime/Gaming convention. I bought at least $290.00 worth of anime merchandise. Over all it was quite fun.

Next year I intend to dress up as Roy Mustang from FMA one day and Altair the next day.

I've been to a CFI convention once. It was interesting.

Just a heads up, CFI stands for Certified Flooring Installers.

I'd love to, but there aren't any close to me.

I plan on going to Comic Con next year though. Well, at least I want to go.

Never done that. Half of me wants to do something like that, and the other half hates the idea of being in public in such a setting...

I once attended a small party/convention when the new HMV shop was opened in town. I went as Big Boss and was kicked out for CQCing Kratos.

I'm going to Nakakon 2010 here in a couple weeks.

I'm cosplaying as Super Saiyan Goku.

Just a few weeks ago I got all geared up in my Higurashi outfit, and then I remembered there are no proper anime conventions in Norway... Then I cried.

Are there any conventions in Norway that have an anime theme in them or is Norway not big on anime conventions?

I've been to three anime conventions. My fourth is coming up in about a month. And I've cosplayed as Sailor Jupiter from Sailor Moon, Rinoa from Final Fantasy VIII, Claire from Resident Evil CV, Alice Elliot from Shadow Hearts, and Alice from American McGee's Alice. It's quite fun, really. :)

Those are the only kind of con I've gone to though. There are two per year here in Colorado.

I went to last October's London MCM Expo with some friends, which is a Anime/Gaming/etc convention type thing, first time being to one of those sort of things, good fun that's for sure, even if it was very hot and stuffy there, even with only a thin t-shirt on, the people who cosplayed in elaborate outfits must have been dead on their feet.
I must have spent around £150 buying mainly anime related things, I hope to go to the next one in May, they're definitely worth going to at least once just for the experience, I sure had a great time.

None that I know of =(... Anime is bigger than you'd think, but people don't speak of it loudly. It's like porn, everyone watch it but not everyone admits they do XD. Norway is strange that way...
