Well I have been debating which game to buy for sometime and I am going back and forth between Splinter Cell Conviction and Just Cause 2, on the one hand SCC looks like a dark brooding game with an intereting story, while JC2 just looks fun like as one critic said: Wrestling a dog in a pool full of disembodied breasts. So which one should I go with?

Depends on your format. If you're a PC gamer, Just Cause 2, as Splinter Cell's DRM is notoriously crappy, while Just Cause 2 uses Steamworks.

Just Cause 2 is good but its effect looses touch after a short while, sure you can do all the stuff but It got boring after a few hours of gameplay and the story is the worst thing in the world, repetive stuff too and the DLC they are bringing out is lame, I dont want extra cars, there are already thousands.

I would recommend Conviction, although the story is short it has some really good multiplayer moments and the DLC there are bringing out is ok, I mean I like getting new weapons and armor etc.

If you like stealth games (not as stealthy as the previous Splinter Cells) with Co-op and a good fanbase behind it get Conviction. Also has a good story too.

If you like free-roam and running about doing stunts and blowing shit up, get JC2.

I don't know what's wrong with that critic, I don't thinking wresting a dog in disembodied breasts sounds really that much fun, unless of course the breasts in question weren't severed, but more spawned so they had flesh everywhere and not missing on one side.

Hmm, now I read that it seems pretty messed up. I agree with the critic that wrestling dogs is fun and breasts are fun, and I know JC2 is fun, if you're a PC gamer I'd go JC2, just because Conviction is most likely going to have that DRM of Ubi's.

I think I am going to go with Conviction for the co-op shenanigans. Why yes I did see the Adventures of Secret Agent Bob and Special Agent Steve on X-play, why do you ask. (Also am now looking for someone to join in and play humorous foil. Lets get the fun started.)

Wow, now that's interesting.
I've been asking myself the exact same question the last few days.
I figured I'll go with Conviction first, just because it's less time consuming and I have to prepare for the exams and stuff.

JC2 should last you, unless SCCs multiplayer is totally f**king awesome.

I have bought JC2 and I liked the game. Note 'liked'.

If Just Cause 2 is Just Cause 1 done right, then you can't go wrong.

Having said that, Conviction! Splinter Cell all the way!

Sam Fisher always delivers.

I agree with this.

By and large, SC:C looks to be the better title.
Granted, that also depends upon how much you like co-op.
