I have three tortoises. Yesterday I visited the specialist reptile pet shop the next town over to pick up some flooring stuff for their hutch / cage / enclosure thing and I saw a sign in the window that said "We Buy Kittens". Now, normally this wouldn't bother me at all what with it being a pet shop and everything, but it's a reptile specialist so they have a heck of a lot of snakes there. At the counter I was talking to the guy working there and jokingly asked if they use kittens as food or something. We had a bit of a laugh about it but then he informed me that snakes can't and won't eat cats of any kind because of the claws. The cat's claws will scratch into the snake's insides and possibly rip open the snake's belly.
So, ramble over, what was the last cool & interesting fact you Escapists learned?
Sorry, I lied. The last cool thing I learned was that the Search Button didn't come up with anything after searching topic key words.
