And don't forget, as long as you skip all the ads for BigFish Games (a horrible awful place) there are tons of brilliant independent flash game designers, as well as downloads, at http://www.jayisgames.com. I recommend anything by Tonypa and anything from Nitrome (also at http://www.nitrome.com), but they also are loaded with room escape and adventure-type games to download. There are lots of unique things, and they're pretty good at catching a lot of them.
