OT: Japanese and Italian are tied for first in my opinion. Japanese sounds (and in a way is) a more refined Mandarin, and Italian is a refined Latin, but is more fun to speak in.

I have to agree with you. Japanese and Russian do sound awesome, but I should also mention that I love the way the Italian language sounds. Maybe it's because I'm fluent in Spanish, seeing as how they both come from Latin, IIRC.

Japanese ... only Osaka-ben ... any other dialect is just isn't as cool. But even Osaka-ben is only passible when it comes to japanese as a 'cool sounding' language.

By far the coolest language is Spanish. Because I find it far more emotive than English.

Elvish! (You never said it had to be a real language!) I find it very seductive. I had very complicated feelings when Orlando Bloom spoke it in LOTR.

You see they're all Gaelic languages which is why I and probably PoliceBox find it a bit strange that people call them all Gaelic.

And when I say people I mean people who aren't from those countries.

All three of them actually. That's why I used this term instead of the specific language's name.
