Any inventive, practical suggestions on cooling off a room? I rent a very small room (roughly 10x10, 16 square ft or so) and while I do have a window, it's far too small to house an air conditioning unit. I know there exist smaller 'portable' AC units on casters, but the ones I've seen cost almost as much as I pay for rent. I have 2 fans, one tower, one desk, that don't seem to do much of anything to cool the room down.
Over the years I've grown accustomed to it being Antarctic in my house at night, so I'm having a LOT of trouble sleeping in 80-something degree weather. Very open to ideas.
