Coolest Assasination

What was the coolest kill you got on Assasin's Creed 2? For me, I had just killed a guard via poison(for the lulz) which had attracted a huge crowd and when I tried to leave some guards came towards me suspitious. Not wanting to ruin the lulz obtained from aformentioned hilarity, I threw some money on the ground and escaped while the guards where almost trampled by the people. It was very James-Bond-esque.

I have to say, the assassination of Franz Ferdinand is the coolest ever. After their original attempt failed, the assassins went their separate ways. One of the assassins decided to stop at a local cafe for lunch. While he was eating a sandwich, he saw Franz passing by, and took the opportunity to shoot him. That is right; a sandwich is responsible for world war one!

Stalking a group of guards (5 I think) and taking them out one at a time. They never knew I was there.

I once poisoned 4 guards, including a brute, then threw hundreds of florins at their feet. The guards killed one another, except for the brute, and in the process about 25 civilians were killed. It was HILARIOUS.

I can't remember their names, but it was when you had to kill two guys before they got to the boat. I climbed on a building and when they were just about to get on the boat, I jumped and killed them both with a double assassination. That was awsome.

He technically didn't die from the assassination attempt. He froze to death... All the poison, bullets, knives did nothing. What killed that man was hypothermia.

That's saying something, right there.

On Topic... I'd have to say killing about a dozen people in a row with grenades as they were coming up the gravity elevators. It might not have been 'assassination' but they sure as hell weren't expecting it.

I thought it was the drowning, not the cold. Besides which, throwing him in the river was part of the assassination, so it still counts.

I try to role play properly while playing AC2, trying to be as much like a proper assassing as possible. Always stealthy, never attracting attention, most of the time not even letting the target see me. If a kill is unnecessary, I try not to do it.

I mostly stick to the streets and blend unless it's impossible to access my destination by the streets, in which case I access the rooftops via a secluded alleyway a few streets away.

whilst on rooftops I try to avoid archers. If that is proven to be impossible, I either assassinate them quickly and make sure their body doesn't drop to the streets below, or I full out duel them with my knife.

I use the hidden gun only if I want to attract attention during a kill(as if the assassin is delivering a public message by killing the target) and I always use smoke bombs to escape. My weapon of choice is the poison blade, or the hidden blade, and I use the sword only in rather big fights.

Yeah, I have a few pretty cool kills.

I thought it was the drowning, not the cold.

Technically, when you're drowning in a frozen lake, the hypothermia gets you before the lack of oxygen. Because at that temperature, your metabolism slows to a molasses-speed, causing you to consume practically no oxygen.

But yeah, surviving all that and then drowning in a frozen lake says a lot about a man... Mostly that a lot of people wanted him dead.

Doing an assassination side quest, I had to kill one specific guard, without getting caught. Simple enough, but I wanted to make things interesting. So I poisoned a civilian, and in his death throes, I poisoned two guards beside the target, they took care of him nicely.

in the mission where you kill the young guy in the market i poisoned his two bodyguards and in their spasms they killed the guy they were guarding which caused other guards to attack them and erupted into around twelve guards killing eachother as i watched from a balcony

I had to kill some guy that had information on my main target. I was in a fight against him and I had a giant battle axe, when he attacked me I countered and trip his legs, while he was in mid-air Ezio said, "sorry friend but you on my list" then the guy fell to the ground, "and you fate is sealed." Then I brought the axe down and chopped him in half.

well this is in assasins creed one, but w/e. I was being chased by i dont know....about FIFTY guards in the city, so i run my butt out the main gate and lose all but one of them. I was bored so i trampled him with my horse then stabbed him, and for fun i "tbagged" his body and as one of the citizens walked by she looks over and says "OH, thats horrible!" i couldn't help but laugh

I was bored so i trampled him with my horse then stabbed him, and for fun i "tbagged" his body and as one of the citizens walked by she looks over and says "OH, thats horrible!" i couldn't help but laugh

I've assuming he used the crouch button, isn't that what they use in Halo as well?

If you hold RT and A(high profile free run mode), but are stationary you go into a crouched position, release and press RT again for him to go up and crouch again. Same for AC2.

Threw some money from a roof, watched guards and people gather to get the coins. Then threw a smoke bomb just as I jumped, quickly switched to my assassination blades, and then double assassinated 2 guards in the confused pile of people.

there was one I did with poison. I had to kill a guy without others recognizing my methods, so I poisoned his escourt guard and he took care of my target with his drug induced rage and a sword up his ass.

In Forli, one of Lorenzo di Medici's assassination contracts for you is to kill the captain on a merchanty ship which isn't currently docked. I grabbed a boat and punted it to close behind the ship. The ship had 4 guards (2 were brutes) and the captain. I climbed onto the boat from the water, but a guard was blocking my way up, so I ledge assassinated him.
Once on deck I threw 3 smoke bombs, covering all the deck, assassinated the captain with my hidden blade and poisoned the 2 brutes, leaving the normal guard to their delirious mercy. I ren up to the elevated part of the ship with the wheel and jumped off onto my boat, then I punted away.
