Aside from a few absolutely awesome costumes which took a lot of work [http://thenextweb.com/2009/02/27/best-halloween-costume-ever/], the only Halloween costumes that I've ever taken any particular interest in are these [http://www.cracked.com/video_18095_slutty-girls-in-slutty-halloween-costumes-tribute.html].

No matter what you post the member here who dressed as Pyramid Head means your costumes are irrelevant.

Next year I intend to dress completley in blue, cover trousers and shirt in big bits of cotton wool and carry a water pistol.

Then I shall become: Cloudy with a chance of rain!

Cuts a very close second I must say.
Sphere Head just doesn't put the effort in, however.

I have a good one, not because it's cool, but because it's cheap and easy to make (the main attraction for a student like myself, or indeed a tight arsed bugger like myself). Last Saturday I bought from an Oxfam store an old shirt and pair of trousers, and some braces, for a pub crawl. The fancy dress theme was 'old people'. This week, I decided to take the clothes and basically go at them with a pair of scissors, so they look really ragged and torn and manky. Then, smear red face paint over them to make them look blood covered. Finally, wearing these, I would put white and red facepaint on my face and hands (which I had left over from last year's Halloween) to basically make myself look pale and blood spattered. The final result would be a blood covered zombie. Free, esay to make, and using leftover clothes and make-up from previous fancy dress attempts, so I wouldn't need to do much or spend any money whatsoever :D
