I would have to say cooliris...

As a person who uses photoshop and searches for thousands of images, it helps a lot while looking awesome. I don't have to freaking wait for stuff to load either. It's amazing..

So what do you think is the coolest extension for FireFox?

cooliris is alright I wish you could just open up a mini window. I like the one where you just right click move the mouse to navigate forward backwards open link in new tab etc.

Other than that I use a real player add on to download ZP and whatever odd videos I find online to watch offline in class

FireFTP is a great little tool. I get an FTP client that can do anything that I want it for, and I don't need to have a separate program to keep it in.

I also like stack-style tabs (ctrl-tab cycles through your tabs) and Auto Slideshow.

NoScript.

It's the only reason why I don't own a anti-virus really. It has pure win written all over it!
And now, I shall procure me some NoScript.

Greasemonkey. Best. Extension. Ever.

My current Firefox list of extensions (is different on the other two computers but this is my primary machine):

Adblock Plus
Control de Scripts
English (Australian) Dictionary
FEBE
Firebug
Flashblock (use it in conjunction with NoScript - that way you can get pages to work but don't have to load video's and crap unless you want to see them)
FoxyProxy
GreaseMonkey
HTML Validator
NoScript
UserAgent Switcher
Webdeveloper Toolbar

I've never been infected though I still recommend you use an antivirus system. I used to use the Clam Glue for Firefox so I could scan my stuff with ClamAV on download but I didn't like that it would lock up firefox when I was scanning.

I just downloaded and had a play with Cooliris... thank you. Thanks you so much! I'm first year on a graphic design degree, and do my fair of photoshoping/illustrator stuff. So this will become a very close friend I can see :)

I use Firegestures, which makes navigating extremely easy. Because of it I was able to get rid of a lot (meaning ALL) of buttons on the toolbar.
I also have Adblock Plus, which makes the internet a little more tolerable.
TinyMenu helped me to further save screen space.

I also use:
-Foxmarks
-Download Statusbar
-GooglePreview
-Foxytunes

One last thing that I did was combine the search bar and the address bar into one. This has actually been really useful, and it's pretty simple to do:
-open a tab and type "about:config" in the address bar
-find the entry named "keyword.url" and change the value to "http://www.google.com.my/search?q="
-now get rid of the search bar and use the address bar for either.

ad block plus is the main reason I have firefox, cooliris and cooliris previews help out, I also have a BBcode extension that puts the tags in for me so I don't have to type them out, I also have the forcastbar enhanced.

I think the funniest add-on was one that makes the stop button say "stop! hammertime." whenever you press it.
