There is a comic convention type thing tomorrow in Melbourne called Supanova, and I decided because I finally have a day off, I could go and check it out. Except I have never been to a comic convention before.
My main issue is that I'm not a massive fan of the stuff. I get into anime and watch a fair bit, and not to offend anyone, but I don't go to the otaku level, so it makes me a bit nervous to be around people who are so into it all. Most of my friends who would go with me went today, so I'm gonna go on my own, because beside checking out what is around, it would be nice to meet some other like minded people.
So any tips for surviving, and possibly getting some new friends out of the whole experience?
