Case in point, the video is obviously edited, and said editor is simply trying to save there own skin.

I wish there were more mods out there taking out the trash. People that act maturely online are dissuaded frequently because some screeching teenage brat yells thoughtless, incessant, nonsensical epithets and profanity at others. Apparently the kid was breaking the Terms of Service by insulting and harassing a Microsoft employee. Another note, the actual hacker (not the foul-mouthed kid) being banned for modding and hacking in previous accounts seems to have conveniently forgotten that the ToS allows Microsoft to ban people and all of their accounts based solely on past conduct--though, naturally, this would be rare seeing as how one would have to be a very persistent and irritating recidivist to get threatened with a true multi-account permaban. Which he was, judging by his Twitter and Youtube accounts.

The Pro may have done some blatantly abusive things before, but in this incident he's completely legit.

And no sane person would take personal umbrage for his lack of political correctness in dealing with the issue. Perhaps give him a bureaucratic slap on the wrist for being "unprofessional," but anybody who's had to deal with idiotic and abusive customers in any service would rather just buy him a beer.

There needs to a mandatory maturity level test for the internet... or something. Also I don't doubt that the mod was being "unprofessional" in this case. Deal with idiots, bigots, racist morons that have the mental age of a 15 year old who cant get over the fact that they dont have power they think they do and I believe most people will be a little... snappy.

Thank God someone had the video, I lost it. After seeing this "unjust mod BS" I was like WAIT, that kid was using mods and being a total jerk! I hope MS finds this kid and bans him for good.

I have a serious issue with this banning. After watching the unedited vid and hearing what the little snot said yes I would like to see him banned. And then kicked in the teeth. However I don't think he should have been banned. I don't agree with mods being online looking for little shits like this. Mods seeking and destroying hackers and cheaters go nuts. I have no control as a player to combat hackers and cheaters. I do have (as do all the other people on XBL) to deal with annoying shits like that without needing my mommy to fight my battles for me. It is too risky for me to think otherwise since it could get out of control in no time. Where does it end? If I am in a game with a mod and call someone a prick or say "fuck" and potentially get banned because the mod doesn't like my voice. I am already scared enough every time I fire up my 360 (RROD) but now I gotta worry about throwing 60 bucks out the window because I don't mind my Ps and Qs online?

Well, it's good that he's realised the mass public lying over the internet and cheating in public games is wrong, it's just a bit of a shame he had learn the hard way and inadvertently involve his family.

I agree that the potential is there for it to get out of hand. But the grounds of the banning were not the 'use of language', it was the user's blatant ignorance to the Live terms of use. He'd been temporarily banned for modding, then created a temporary account to get around it (which grants access of the perma-ban). He then proceded to mock and provoke The Pro (more breach of terms) while re-applying the mod in defiance.

His ban was completely called for if you ask me.

Sorry but that makes no sense. If Pro knew that the kid was using a hacked account to get around his punishment then there should have been no verbal engagement whatsoever. It should have been oops you aren't supposed to be here bye bye. End of story. Engaging him is immature and unproffesional.

I agree with you that it was completely unprofessional, I was merely arguing the reason for the ban. The kid wasn't banned because of what he was saying (though that is breaking the rules), it was because of his modding and temporary accounts. You're right though that The Pro shouldn't have gotten dragged into that. The whole mess would've been avoided if he'd just kept his trap shut and banned the kid.
