EDIT: I got alittle bit bored so I whipped this up to pass the time

Been itching to see Tron Legacy and looking for anything nonspoiler-esque material related to it to make the now only days wait until the midnight premiere(for which I already have my ticket X3) and I stumbled across a Bio for Quorra(who of course is played by the lovely Oliva Wilde) and I noticed afew similarities that she seems to have to Halos resident Smart AI Cortana.
For starters they're both programs advanced though they both may be but still artifcial none the less, they are highly intelligent and curious(Cortana because of the way she was designed...not sure about Quorra yet for obvious reasons), they are both very skilled 'fighters' in a manner of speaking...though Cortana deals more in hacking and using whats available to her (and sometimes the Covenants tech against them) where as Quorra from what the trailer shows deals in actual fist fighting and use of her light disc and her Light Runner.
Both have a real person who is like a maternal figure to them....Doctor Halsey for Cortana(being made from a flash cloned copy of Halseys brain this is kind of understandable) and Quorra has Kevin Flynn who created the world she inhabits.(and possibly created her personally her we don't know yet)
And Finally the both have another person linked to their respective Maternal Figure with whom they apppear to bond. For Cortana its inarguably the Master Chief who is a Spartan because of Doctor Halsey and Quorra has Sam who obviously is Kevin Flynns son.

That all said any other comparisons that can be made that you think may not have been made before?

Sorry but please, please paragraph it; it's a real pain trying to read a block of text.

Anyway, I guess so but I can't really judge until I've seen the movie.

I think its a little too early to draw up similarities but I wouldn't be surprised if they were there. The Intelligent AI character has been in Sci Fi for a while now.

I know the archetype has been around but I just couldn't help but notice afew right off the bat....plus it gave me something to do in terms of writing up that big paragraph
