So after I don't know how many years, I finally decided to go out for Halloween again. I'm going as Gintoki from Gintama and got the outfit today.

I just need help with how to properly put on a kimono and to adjust the sleeves as they're very big(it's not a size issue, the shirt and trousers fit me perfectly) Any help is appreciated.

Fair warning this is not professional advice. Pin the part of the cuffs that meet the sleeve up to the necessarily length. Be careful with the sleeves. I would use needles, unless you can sew. Punt little pieces of cork, or some other reasonable material. on the sharp end of the needles so it is comfortable for the duration of the wearing. I have no clue about the Kimono.
