I've never cosplayed before; heck, I can't remember the last time I dressed up for Halloween! That being said, I found a website that's selling a Sho Minamimoto cosplay. Once I get mahself a credit card, I'm so zetta getting it!

Hi everybody on the Escapist, I'm a cosplayer and im guessing some of you are too .
We should share our interest, but above all, our awesome cosplay, with eachother!
So, c'mon, post your cosplay(s), stories and experiences

This year, a few months ago, I went to Sweden's biggest anime convention, Uppcon11, held in Uppsala. I went as Travis Touchdown and my friend went as the poster guy from Brink. Halfway through the opening show i acutely had to leave and when i got home my temperature was 41 celsius. For the rest of the day, and the day after I was bedridden and tried intensely to focus on mending. The third, and last, day i felt well enough to go to the convention again, and about an hour after getting there I was pulled out a manga buying line to have a private photo session with one of the ''big shots'' of the convention. Thats my first cosplay

Please don't laugh, I wasn't thinking! (lol). I'm still a fan of Naruto and all of that but, wouldn't go as far as doing that again. Also I looked evil for some reason, I seriously cannot tell for the life of me why... with cat ears.

Why not? I'd love to cosplay as someone that doesn't need particular features like Tobi [sub]or Madara.[/sub] Just got into Naruto again, spent my entire free-time after school reading Naruto mangas >.> And I though the Escapist was an addiction!

I haven't cosplay just yet but after going to the MCM Expo Manchester last Saturday (it was awesome and had a good time!) I will have a go at cosplay for the next event.
My original idea to cosplay was Roronoa Zoro from One Piece but the main concern dressing up as him was getting hold of three toy katanas and how to dye my hair green. (Would coloured hair spray work or bleach it?)
My new idea now is just happen to be Travis Touchdown (I went to some pound shops to look for katana but instead I found a cheap lightsaber and sunglasses which reminded me Travis). The only problems I can think of is getting a red jacket cheaply and how to modify the bean katana.

I'd like to get into it on special occasions, but the ones I want to do always seem too difficult. However since I should be getting a retro lancer sometime this week I will be doing Halloween as Dom Santiago.

EDIT: Actually, Baird is so much cooler. Plus it means I get to spend the day being sarcastic and not constantly whining.
