I got Call of Duty 4: Modern Warefare awhile ago and installed it on my computer. My computer was a dinosaur however and it could barely run the game at all. Just recently I got a new computer and thought I could install the game on my new computer. I put in the disc and went through the button clicking until it came up asking for a registration code located in the box. I found the box and put in the code and it said the code wasn't valid. Could it be because I had the game installed on my dinosaur? Or is it because I suck at reading letters and numbers? If anyone could help me with a way to get my game working on my computer I can play it on I would be very appreciative.

Edit: Mordern Warfare not warefare. I'd imagine Modern Warefare would involve wares in some way. A very modern way.

most games can only be on one computer, but try uninstalling it on the old computer before you put it on your new one.

I don't think Modern Warfare connects to the net to check the activation code until you actually go to play it online so you might just need to recheck your code.

Shouldn't it be possible to install on another computer if, say, your old computer caught on fire and exploded?

This. If it still doesn't work, just look on the internet for another registration code. That's what I do when it doesn't work for me or I lose it.

I woulnd't know. Wait, has this happened to you?
Nope, but just to be prepared. I'm pretty worried about my poor computer. Although I don't think it will literally explode.

But he's talking about the PC not the 360.
