Could Chell have a role in HL3?

even though Iv always avoided pretty much anything related to Portal 2 I thourght ageis ago I read somwhere it was going to be set 100 or so years after the events of portal 1?

in that case I think the conflict of HL3 would be over by then (depending on what the Gman does worth gordon and Alyx..if he puts them in stasis or somthing) and Im unsure about portals timeline in relation to the events of HL

anyway I just thourght it was somwhat possible given that they are headed for the Borealis a ship made by Apature...how chel could end up on the ship I do not know but yeah

some people think that chel and gordon woul get together....I dont think this would ever happen, however conversationwise I imagine they would understand each other perfectly

thats what I ment by "understand each other perfectly" anyway thats more a silly fan theory than anything, as the guy above pointed out its completley counter-productive to try and pull that off

I'd like to think so. An interview with one of the main Portal writers (Here [http://www.vg247.com/2011/03/14/wolpaw-players-dont-care-about-portals-chell/]) said he had it in mind that Chell was silent by choice, and generally pissed about the whole Aperture thing, so giving her a speaking role would not be that difficult.

Time span? G-man. If he keeps a watch for individuals with unusual abilities, especially someone with a portal device, it's not that hard to imagine that he'd bring her in to help, and he's already been shown to have space/time warping abilities.

As for the part she'd play? ... I honestly don't know. For some reason, I could imagine her being a big help in taking down Advisors (I'm not entirely sure how, but I figure portals and agility could be useful in sneaking up on them or something).

Gordon/Chell? Nope.

I also remember seeing an interview- granted, this was when Portal first came out- where it was said Chell would have an important part in the HL universe as a whole. (here. [http://www.g4tv.com/videos/18508/X-Play-Preview-Portal/])

...no. Portal 1 took place arround the same time as Half Life 1, probably a bit after. Alyx was an infant then.

That wouldnt work. Canonically, Portal takes place between HL1 and 2, while Gordon was in the G-Mans fridge dimension.

OT: I dont see why not, Valve has supposedly tied in the Borealis to Portal 2. Now while Episode 3 sweeps the vaporware awards until it finally happens, we will wait and see.

Actually...

Chamber 6 or 7, first introduction to the pellet? 'You, [subject name here] must be the pride of [subject hometown here].' I just got through the game again, so it's all fresh, and I have never seen any trace of a confirmed last name for Chell- either in the game or in any outside media.
