Could you forgive EA?

OK, so a lot of people pour a lot of hate on EA for all kinds of things.

If EA quit doing all the things that so many people hate, turned themselves around and quit eating babies bought with the money you've thrown at them because they own developers that make decent or good games...

Would you still hate EA?

As much hate as I see on these forums for EA, I really wonder that even if EA did get their act together if people would stop hating them. Or are they simply doomed to be loathed?

I've never had a problem with EA, mainly because they do publish a lot of games that are enjoyable to play. But unfortunately a lot of gamers get angry quickly and hold onto that anger condemning a business for being a business. So I doubt most people will ever get over 'evil' EA.

There would always be people who see the Antichrist in every their action. But I think most sane gamers would forgive them. In time, not immediately, but assuming that EA actually start behaving, they would get a better reaction from the public.

It's nothing personal, but I'd like to see EA go bankrupt just because it would send a beautiful message to other companies.

I don't hate EA, I hate the way they do business. If they stopped acting like douchebags that would be awesome.

I will forgive EA poshumously when the Company has bankrupted into oblivion and none of it remains.

I don't hate EA as it is to be honest. I've got too much to do to dwell on what game companies have or haven't done. If any company releases a game I want to play, I'll buy or rent it and that's it. I don't feel like they owe me anything.

As far as I'm concerned, as stated in another thread, there's nothing to forgive: I like and purchase a lot of the games they publish, and have no beef with them whatsoever, despite other people telling me I should hate them.
