Could you kill somebody?

Now I'm not talking about cold-blooded murder here, I'm talking about in the direst of circumstances.

Like in self-defense, or maybe someone is threatening a loved one.

Do you have it in you to end another human's life?

Personally, I think if pushed to that extreme, I could kill somebody.

Well, physically yes, because I was taught at school how to use a military issue L-98 rifle and have fired various other weapons in that time. I also have a knack for seing the potential weapon in anything.

Mentally, however, I couldn't kill someone in cold blood. However, in self defence or to protect those I love, I would have no hesitation in doing so.

In self defence, it's common for you to switch into kill mode any way. I do think I could. It would scar me for life, but I think I could.

I really only care for one other person in the world, so if they were threatened, I would kill without hesitation.

I'd probably say so, since I've been training to kill or severely injure in self-defense since I was 11.

If i had to then i would. For example if i was out in the wilderness and the person breaks alot of bones and can't go on, i'd drather kill them quickly and painlessly than let them suffer horribly.

Yes, all I need is a sharp knife, a dark ally way and a very good reason to kill said person.

Would I kill someone?
No. Killing is wrong. Besides, I'd feel so guilty afterwards that I'd admit to it.

Most definitely, I don't even think it had to be "extreme conditions."

Not in cold blood as I am a Jedi, but if I had the right reasons too then I probably would.

This maybe because I saw a documentary on 9/11 yesterday, but if I met Osama Bin Laden on a one-on-one meeting and had a gun, and had only the choice of killing him or letting him get away, then hopefully I would most certainly cap his ass.

yes hammer to the head and bury them alive and whatch them die (got idear from csi) if they:
a. try to rob me
b. try to kill me
c. try to kill others

but only within reason and if no one knows where they are. and definatly NOT some one innecent and who does not desrve it.

Hmmm I am unsure, I won't act like some internet tough guy and say I'd coldly cut down a person. Physically I'm strong, tough and quite fast due to boxing and weight lifting and mentally I kill animals occasionally (for a farm owned by friend's near me), I don't think much about the animals because there just a commodity, but a human is a whole complex bag of memories, thoughts, friends, family and emotions, likely if threatened I would act but I am unsure how I would deal with the psychological aftermath.
