Council election results

So it looks as though the Tories have swept across the nation turning everything blue. In my division they managed to boot out the Lib Dems, getting about 500 more votes than 2005.

But 2 horrendous pieces of news...the BNP have made their first ever gains, in Lancashire where there was only a 35% turnout (total eligible populace 10,812) and they won by only 199 votes; and Leicestershire where there was only a 39% turnout (total eligible populace 9,715) and they only won by 86 votes!!! Stupid lazy people!!!

So how have all your elections worked out?

Yeah this. Tories have a huge majority...I'm leaving the country for Canada or Scandinavia as soon as I'm done with University.
