As long as they don't fuck it up like they did the third which wouldn't run on the highest end system of the time due to being poorly optimized and maybe a little overly ambitious I am SO on board for this.

Fantastic news, I remember me and a friend playing the hell out of those games. The power ups you could get where especially fun and wacky, like having a giant spike ball attached to the rear of your car. That was just bizzare, but wacky fun.
