Counter-Strike: Source Beta Open Again

Just letting anyone interested (not sure how many of you will be) know that beta for the update to CS:S has been re-opened temporarily. For anyone that doesn't know the update essentially ports the game onto the Orange Box engine which greatly improves the netcode, they're also adding a lot of TF2 features such as the "revenge" and "domination" system onto the game, as well as achievements, and they're (hopefully) fixing some of the bugs that have been with the game for a long while.

Oh thanks for letting me know. My brother has been wanting to try the beta and he will be pleased with this news.

Can I honestly ask why people love CS so much? (seriously not a nerd rage or flame invitation but it always seemed to me that it was the weakest half life source project in the face of the Specialists, Desert Crisis, Natural selection and a few others I can't think of right now)

No problem, I'm not exactly happy with some of the changes myself but I've been dying to give the beta a try and form some actual opinions about it since I just missed out on the first release, when I noticed it was open again I did a double take in excitement, and I just felt like I should share it in-case anyone else was interested lol.

Fucking cheers for the heads up, I made it in time.

I'm holding off judgement till I've actually played, but my general opinion off of what I've read is CS:S doesn't need this at all.
