Not sure. That's generally true of people everywhere. But as long as we're not all pod people or something.Eggo said:Most of the people here are actually pretty similar, even if they weren't from pretty similar places.

Hmmmm...I suppose it's usually best to pick the place you feel is home, or that has had the most influence on you.Eggo said:Most of the people here are actually pretty similar, even if they weren't from pretty similar places.

Anyway, I was born in Iran and raised in New Jersey by parents who are from Bangladesh/India. I go to school in Maryland.
Which one do you want me to pick?

You're in Galveston, aren't you?crimson5pheonix said:Born and raised in Texas. Ont the coast of a lovely murder spot. The weather sucks year round. Some of the most destructive storms in the world draw a bead on us. I want to move somewhere less destructive to myself and my stuff.
Louisiana in the U.S. of A. Not much to say about it, weather's bad, locals are worse.sarahvait said:I was thinking that I really like this community because there's so many different people from different places here. So I was wondering where everyone's from.
I'm lucky enough to not be in that hell, but I'm only about 30 minutes from there. My particular neiborhood is much more subdued, but I used to live in a very bad part of Houston.NewClassic said:You're in Galveston, aren't you?crimson5pheonix said:Born and raised in Texas. Every part of Houston is a bad part, dude. Except the rodeos, those are just funny. There isn't a stereotype for cowboys that doesn't abuse itself in those things...crimson5pheonix said:I'm lucky enough to not be in that hell, but I'm only about 30 minutes from there. No that is actually the start of a slipknot songcrimson5pheonix said:....Invasion of the Body snatchers? Are you Leonard Nimoy?
It's all relative dude. Yes, there really isn't a "good part" of Houston, but the NE and SW sides are the worst at the moment. The place where I used to live that was bad is now an up and coming popular neighborhood. I lived only a few houses away from the doctor where that railroad killer killed.NewClassic said:Every part of Houston is a bad part, dude. Except the rodeos, those are just funny. You want to know about our different cultures? The Iron Ninja said:Aw... It's just another "What country are you from?" thread...
I was hoping for a thread about the country, cows, sheep, chickens and all that.
I wanted ho-downs and wicker baskets.
I just want to let you know sarahvait that your thread has dissapointed me greatly.
Sorry. I am kinda new here. The Iron Ninja said:Aw... It's just another "What country are you from?" thread...
