Country sound-off!

I was thinking that I really like this community because there's so many different people from different places here. So I was wondering where everyone's from.

For myself, I'm from Indiana in the U.S.

Not sure. That's generally true of people everywhere. But as long as we're not all pod people or something.

Anyway, I was born in Iran and raised in New Jersey by parents who are from Bangladesh/India. I go to school in Maryland.

I'm lucky enough to not be in that hell, but I'm only about 30 minutes from there. My particular neiborhood is much more subdued, but I used to live in a very bad part of Houston.

Every part of Houston is a bad part, dude. Except the rodeos, those are just funny. There isn't a stereotype for cowboys that doesn't abuse itself in those things...

It's all relative dude. Yes, there really isn't a "good part" of Houston, but the NE and SW sides are the worst at the moment. The place where I used to live that was bad is now an up and coming popular neighborhood. I lived only a few houses away from the doctor where that railroad killer killed.
