I'm a large Apple fan. But this takes being a 'fan' of something to extremes.

The flagship Fifth Avenue (NYC) Apple retail store was the location one couple chose for getting married, ifoAppleStore reports. A hot-dog stand guy recorded the ceremony on his phone, while the couple had their rings brought in on a first-gen iPod. This and other Apple-themed items were used, suggesting the two were huge Apple fans.

What's the oddest place you've seen people getting married?

I think this right here is the weirdest place I have ever heard of a couple getting married at.

Well... I can't top that.

Unless someone was to marry another person in a gamestop, with the rings brought in on a first-gen console.

Getting married in an Apple store? I heard there's an App for that.

Seriously though, this couple are massive attention whores. I'm sure that they love Apple and every gizmo they produce but they clearly did this for the attention. You wouldn't get married in a store for any other reason, except perhaps mental retardation. Yeah, that could be it.

I find this sort of depressing.

You hear of people who get married on mountain tops or remote beauty spots which require huge effort to get to. But a couple who are so in love with anything which is shiny and has an Apple logo on it that they'll get married in a chain store... that's just as sad as getting married in a McDonalds.

Not that I don't really like my iPhone; I just hate the way that so many mac users treat it Apple products like a social movement rather than a product.

A Graveyard. That goes WAY beyond distasteful to me. I'm real sure that marriage will last /sarcasm.

Finally all that space in the barren apple store is used for something.

Honestly, the apple store is so huge and so empty it's perfect for catering.

Is that the one just outside FAO schwarz? Man, I love that massive toy shop.

I dunno, under the ocean or something.

I think there was a couple in my state who recently got married in a grocery store, as dared by some radio show hosts.
