Of all the rumours about a Crackdown sequel from the past year or so, this is probably the biggest/best one yet. I was already excited about APB, but another Crackdown would be even better.

Do you think it's going to happen? And if it is, what do you want to see in the game?

Better respawn points. Srsly, the respawn for the second/Russian island was fucking bullshit.

Yes! Finally!

And I hopefully see us playing as a renegade agent having to fight other agents to take down the Agency

and that annoying voice guy.

I mean that's pretty much the direction the game had us going in at the ending...

Yeah, a better story would be a plus, also maybe they can ditch the narrator?

I'd also like to see more weapons, probably more exotic stuff this time. The first game had some good ones, but I rarely find myself using anything other than my usual Firefly/Grenade Launcher/Cluster Grenades combo.

Speaking of weapons, did anyone here buy the expansion pack? I've always been curious about it, but I still think 800 points is a bit steep for 4 guns and a few new vehicles.

I thought the voice was awesome.

Oh he was at first, but then he started revealing how little attention he was actually paying

"That was an impressive ascent agent" - Said while I was at STREET LEVEL

and then there was the fact that he had only about 5 or 6 phrases he would love to repeat ad-nauseum.

I think it was worth it, just for being able to put remote mines on unassuming objects (like say, a dumpster) and throw it at a group of thugs and detonate.

EDIT: One thing I would like to see is a multiplayer deathmatch mode. Teams of super-augmented agents running around the city blowing each other up would be awesome...I think.

But didn't the original already have remote mines? I'm going to have to check now.

And yes, deathmatch, awesome! Team Deathmatch, customizable characters, forming clans... man, that would be awesome.

Keep the Voice, create a real story, invent worthy opponents (Worthy as in "equally superpowered" or "200 Foot Mech Deathmachine" and maybe give the player more over the top moves.

Jumping up a Building is cool, but it would also be pretty neat if you could run up and along it's walls.

Oh, also there needs to be Air Traffic (Helicopters, Small Planes and of course Zeppelins!) just for the fun of tooling around with it.

Well again given the ending of the first, fighting against other Agency superagents would almost be a given.

I'd like to see air traffic only because of the possibility of being able to punch an enemy aircraft out of the sky.

The harpoon gun and sandbox mode were worth the price alone, add in the invisibility and new vehicles and the download was a must have.

PC version plox. Crackdown 2 will hopefully be even more awesome then the original. What I found a problem with the original is that it is always "kill the crime boss, good job agent. I can see my house up from here, agent." More variety would be great.

The original had remote detonated mines. The DLC introduced proximity mines.

I'd like to see a greater creativity in the weapons. The Firefly was a good start, but they can go better. The first thing I'd want to see would be the DLC weapons as standard. Then, I'd like to see stuff like Flamethrowers, Mortar bombs, Firebombs, Lock-on missiles (like the real world Paladin), and some proper use for shotguns and sniper rifles.

I really regret trading in Crackdown. I wonder if I can find it cheap somewhere.

I really hope this gets made. I would like to see more respawn points, a little more variety, and a better story.

I bought it for 5 bucks a few months ago, I'm sure you can find it for cheap.

New guns, better story and a lot more dialogue would be nice. The first was a random buy one day when I was bored and is now one of my go to games. Can't wait to see what they do, though I still want the same type of graphics, the cartoonishness of it was charming and made jumping on top of someone from 20+ metres just that much more enjoyable.

It wasn't the best game ever but it was nice to play something seemingly a bit off the beaten path.

I just wanted to voice my agreement with hypothetical fact that we'd need more "Remember: skills for kills, agent. Skills for kills!"

Because I thought absolutely everything that voice said was hilarious, especially towards the middle of the game where the voice would bug and the things he'd say were no longer in any way related to what you were doing.

Crackdown is one of those games that you play for weeks without really acknowledging the sheer awesomeness of it all, until it hits you one day: "man this is a kick ass game I've been playing". I'm really looking forward to the sequel, it has A LOT of potential.

Crackdown was awesome, I hope I get to kill the voiceover guy...
They could make the surroundings more interesting... They felt a bit flat.
Oh and they better sort out that save-deleting problem.
