This makes me happy. I was a huge fan of the first, it was pure fun, and it will be awesome to see more of that.

Edit just saw the trailer:...Oh my god, oh my god, oh my god. Want, want, want. It looks soooo good, not too sure about the darkness of it, but it still looks amazing. I was excited before, I'm frothing at the mouth now. I hope we don't have to wait too long.

Ahh, Crackdown.
It exploded in my 360.
I fucking loved Crackdown.
I must have the new one, and Sims 3.

About time, the game was great and I was kinda disappointed to hear the developers weren't gonna focus on Crackdown because of some shitty cop MMO.

I just don't see the appeal of PC gaming.
Do you see the appeal in gaming?
I know, I know, everyone has their own opinions etc.
FPS, RTS and Adventure games were made for PC gaming. That is fact.
Thanks to Bethesda and Bioware they also run the best for RPGs as well now.
See the appeal yet?

Well, for one, I don't have any consoles except a Wii.

So PC gaming wins there.
You aren't a true gamer without some kind of Nintendo.
Crackdown I agree would be soo good for PC though. So much more potential for online or LAN play as well.
It's just nice to see some more decent Xbox exclusives.

I just saw the trailer for Crackdown 2. I heard that agency guys voice and I was like "OMG Crackdown 2!" I mean that guy was annoying but it just wouldn't be Crackdown without him.

Wait, wait. Wouldnt this have to be quite a different story from the first?

*Spoilers*

If the Agency put up the gangs to control the people, wouldnt that make them evil?
They probably didn't want to spoil the ending of the first game.

I can see three possibilities by the trailer:
1) the crackdown agent guys split from the agency and are... enforcing law
2) some real crime pops up and the agency fights it because they're still law enforcement despite their little trick
3) it plays in a different city, because according to the ending of the first game the agencies do *that* thing in other cities too.

And to answer your question NO that wouldn't make them evil, damn kids these days think everything's either black or white :/

It's more comfortable for me to be in my computer room than in the dining room, as well. Less glare, more comfortable chairs...

And I don't like console controllers.
Xbox, Xbox 360, PS1-3, N64..
Never liked them.
I see you specified the PS1-3 controllers. You seem to be under the impression they weren't all the same =P.

On topic, what does everyone make of the non-comic graphics, kinda disappointed that's gone, it helped make crackdown unique and visually less generic, not they could easily have stepped out of gears with their chunky armour suits. Still psyched though.

Oh, I am aware that they're all basically the same, I'm just covering all of my bases.
And I didn't like SNES controllers either.

The Wii is meh. Gamecube was alright, but I still prefer keyboard and mouse to it any day.
Heh, I know I was just teasing sony fans =P I think the Gamecube had the bes controller. Best ergonomic design. Comfortable, you could press almost all combinations of face buttons comfortably. only think it was missing was clicky sticks and an "l1" button.

How can they make a second? The first didn't leave any cliffhangers for a new game.

RTS, FPS, and RPGS may have been intended for the PC, but they we're refined on the console (with the exception of RTS). Shooters just don't play well on a computer, or at least not nearly as good as most do on a console.

If mods we're available for the 360 version of Oblivion, I would much rather prefer that to playing the game with the same mods on PC.
