I just accidently deleted a file that i needed. WHAT THE CRAP DO I DOOO?!?!

Ah..which file personal or dll? How did you delete it (shift + del) or recycle bin then erased that?

Once you've emptied the recycle bin as long as that part of the drive hasn't been written over by use, you can use the command line (Dos) command undelete to try to get it back. But if windows was moving info around and dumped something where that file was, since recycle bin tagged it for open space, it could be gone for good.

What's so important about this sound find, if you don't mind me asking? Of all the files, usually those are more easily replaced.

(insert obligatory "delete system32" joke here)

depending on the file, system recovery/system restore might be the trick, not 100% sure if it will work though...

OT: You can probably try to system restore, if you've got a recovery point set up sometime in the recent past (like after you made the file) and also, try searching your PC for it. You may have copied it into another folder and it may be hiding there.
