It saddens and angers me at the same time when I look at their timeline.
Square and Squaresoft made some of my favourite titles, and their games had a certain level of quality.
Then Enix got involved, and the company went to pot.
Suddenly, games became less frequent and less impressive, and a company that once garnered so much respect from me and many others became one of ridicule.
They've been Square Enix for nine years or so, but I still mourn the passing of Squaresoft.

Basic combo (L M H S (launcher) L M H S) that is the same for all characters. OTG gunshot S (launcher) L M H S OTG gunshot. Super.
Congrats you have just taken three quarters of a character's health. One simple mixup and the guy is dead! You are so good at this game!
Also taunting post match is disgusting. Never do it. I make sure to quit out before the win saves when it happens just to make a point. It actually inconvieniences me to do so because I have to load the game again from Dashboard. Don't care, do it anyway.
Fucking Varus in LoL... Why does he exist?! For some reason every single thing about him rubs me the wrong way. The character design, the particle effects, the sound effects, the moveset I find everything about him insufferable. I want him to die even when he's on my team.
I also hate Soraka with a complete passion. Most overrated Support in the game. Suck my Sona Soraka!

People that swear by a Meta game. No, i won't break lane 10 minutes in to stack on mid. I think i'll go farm their golem, or take dragon, or maybe clear jungle since our jungler is doing fuck all to help.

50 Shades of Grey Fans. Just... no. Its not a good book. I read it for 15 minutes, got up, and set it gently on the sidewalk and walked away. Then came back with lighter fluid and matches and turned the book 50 Shades of Grey (Yes i know, bad pun, but terrible book, so it evens out)
People who take games too seriously. Yep, i'm playing Master Yi. Yeah, i'm going AP. Why not AD? Because its boring. AP is fun for me, remember fun? Yeah that thing that games are supposed to be? No i'm not gonna get AD gear. No, i'm building AP. Oh wait whats that, its endgame and i have 14/1/8 WOW! I had fun and didn't die near as much as you thought i would. Seriously, play Yi as AP, its hilariously fun.

I think everything past his flashback was absolutely stupid. Hawk's character arc has taken a turn for the stupid, Guts is now annoying as a protaganist, and that girl he 'loves' is now a mute retard? COME ON!!!!! It was good before the flashback ended. Well, he always went "super berserk", even in the first two half volumes (the intro). Guts was always inhumanly strong, but it was a strength he earned by being raised on the battlefield and constantly pushing himself to his physical limits. This mentallity of never wanting to lose ever all stems from his childhood when "that" happened where he was completely powerless. This is what made his struggle admirable, because he attained his power through his own training and suffering, not because some demon or curse granted him it. I thought that the series all the way up to the re-rebirth of Griffith was brilliant. It wasn't until the Fantasy arc started that annoying things were suddenly creeping into the story.
- Guts became sorta bland as a character, and had lost that fire and passion he'd always had.
- Farnese suddenly became a Mary Sue.

Firefly fans. And their insistence that the show should still be bought back. Its been ten fucking years people. Its not coming back. No-one wants it back. It wasn't even that good. Everyone thought they wanted a new Indy film, and look how that turned out!
If I were to be really pissy, I'd probably also go with console fanboyism. Then again, I've stopped visiting IGN (particularly the comment boards) so I don't really notice this anymore.
