Crash problem with AVP2

No, this is not about the new Alien vs. Predator, I mean the old AVP2.

My game keeps crashing the instant I load any level, SP or MP, I've tried getting hotfixes but nothing seems to work.

Any ideas?

Well, that sucks, check the support site and/or a friend with tech skills.

On a side note, i remember that my game got a game breaking bug on each of the campaigns that stopped me advancing. (The script for certain doors would not open on each of the campaigns, sucks badly)

Are you on XP? If not, try running in compatibility mode for XP and run as admin.

What? You basically got an installed version of AVP2, copied the files to your computer and now you can't uninstall? So when you do Add&Remove it doesn't show up or...

Theres the source of your problem then, you need to install it. (Or get a registry hack, but I am not giving you hints there as it is the same as pirating in this case)
