So I'm playing Fallout 3 on the 360 and I get into a fight with 6 or 7 Super Mutants in the inner city by Falls Church Metro. So I kill them all(I'm Lvl 7, with not many good guns) I use around 20 stimpacks. As I kill the last guy and try to search his body, game freezes.

I was going to save RIGHT BEFORE THIS HAPPENED. The reason it really pisses me off is because it's on the 360. I'd expect this from my PC....

Q: Do you have a good story involving a computer crash, blackout, etc.?

Well, during a graphics arts project my video card's melting process took full swing and everything on my monitor went all crazy. Luckily I always have 2-3 extra video cards lying around.

I tried to play Crysis on my 1998 Gateway to just watch the fail.
Couldn't read the DVD disc... shit that was fast.

Oh and Fallout 3 had some definite fail moments on my 360.

Well I tried playing FF VII for the 30th time and got through disc one on my computer when the game and computer froze. It made me stop playing games with story lines for over a year even though it froze due to a damaged hard drive, not because of the game itself.

Fallout is notorious for crashes. it crashes pc, 360, and ps3 a hell of a lot, but i persevere, because i enjoy it so very much. just wish it could handle really big fights without going mad.

My 360 kept crashing when I was playing Saints Row 2. The worst part was that I was playing through the whole game with my then-boyfriend, so whenever it crashed, we'd have to start the mission again, complete with me having to try and come back into the game. It was a pain in the ass, didn't half ruin the flow of play...

I cant think of anything where my computer crashed but I did have some glitches.

Well one time i was playing fallout 3 on my laptop and I was walking through DC and suddenly a bus that was next to me went flying into a building for no reason, then blew up.

Also I was playing Mercenaries 2 and when I got into a helicopter before I got to do anything it rose into the air and flipped, then blew up.

Fallout always crashes for me on my 360. I constantly save everytime I go anywhere just because of this. Actually I've had Halo 3 refuse to load up for me because I had saved in a dangerous area and so the game file became corrupted.

i was playing fable on the computer, but it crashed alot(as in i would move toward anything for about 4 seconds, and it crashed.) i fixed it eventually, but for about a day it was a race to see what would happen first, me getting to another area/ anything else worthwhile and saving, or the crash.

Combat Arms took me AGES to download and then it was pretty much 3fps for the first time I played it. Needless to say I don't play that any more.

While playing Paper Mario on the N64 one day (felt nostalgic), the game froze and this weird command console-like screen opened up. Not knowing what it was, I hit the reset button. The TV started giving off some loud noise, so I turned off the system. A simple cartridge blow fixed it, strangely enough.

Muahahahaha Never had a Fallout problem on my 360.

But I had a PS3 fail, I was in the middle of a mission in inFamous and BAM, everything froze. Actually, I was almost done with the mission, didn't bother to save like an idiot, had to start over.

*sigh*

But Bully did freeze on me on the 360 while I was playing it. I was sad.

My gamecube crashed once, after getting the Sealed-J sword in Phantasy Star Online and right before I could "save".

To explain, the Sealed-J sword is a 1/12604 drop from a mini-boss on the hardest difficulty of Episode 2.

Had the weirdest game glitch during Saints Row on my 360, it had the glass and some parts of the Third Street Church look like a chain link fence was attached into it.

Also, recently whenever I play Mass Effect on my PC - having just installed Pinnacle Station - and I hit escape three times to skip through the BioWare, EA, and Demiurge Studios intros to just get to the game's main menu I seem to get a freaking stop error. Yet, if I let these things run on their own I can play the game. I feel a necessary urge and need to blame Bioware, but most of my hatred falls unto Demiurge Studios of whom I have no idea what they did with whatever they were told to do.

EDIT: Apparently the Mass Effect Glitch was a fluke, the computer isn't as temperamental as it once was. But what caused it still remains a mystery, I assume the game was trying access too much data at once and my computer had a... Heart Attack? I don't believe this thing has a heart, it's far too cruel to me.
