Pretty much every single conspiracy theories that centeres around 9/11, The Illuminati's, the holocaust denials. For those who believe these theories: you god damn idiots really need to get laid.

I think it would be better if they didn't get laid, that way they won't spread their stupidity to the next generation.

OT: Anything Jim Corr says, he may be right about some things, but the evidence he comes up never sensibly points to anything he concludes from it.
He lived less than a mile away from me for a while, hopefully his insanity hasn't washed off on me.

Also, another thing that makes just die laughing is that they always say that they are telling THE TRUTH ! I mean, when you say THE TRUTH it's something that can't be debated but the thing is that their theories are just that: theories. Even then, i think i would call them fantasies and not theories or speculations but they all just fucking bang on the fact that IT'S THE TRUTH. I AM EXPOSING THE TRUTH BLA BLA BLA. Also, if you DARE to say the opposite, they just all tank on you (or go with the simple "obvious TROLL IS OBVIOUS), they adjust their imaginary tie and assault you with their pseudo-intellectual comments or insults saying things like: " Huh ! Yeah right, go back to your delusionnal world filled with lies and go back watching Fox News you fucking tool".

But i gotta say, with all the "theories" about 9/11 there's a lot of good material to make a good conspiracy movie .

Craziest theory I've heard came from a guy I worked with who stopped taking his meds, went crazy and was fired. The theory was that The United states government assassinated Michael Jackson as a threat to the Chinese government to prove how far they were willing to go to protect their interests.

Thousands of people still believe this and refuse to have their kids vaccinated despite the fact that the research was discredited and the doctor involved was deemed to have been unethical in his research by the medical authorities in the UK.FFS the guy was being paid by lawyers representing parents who believed that vaccines had harmed their kids

The sad thing is that it's the children who are suffering as they are being exposed to potentially dangerous diseases because of the stupidity of their parents

However, since I need to post something.

The idea that the earth is 6,000 years old and all of history happened within 6,000 years seems crazy. I mean, every war would have to take at least 2 months so that we can be where we are currently.

I'm not sure that there is anything about my comment that promotes bigotry, immoral, or condescending. Is it really wrong for a parent to want for their child a world where when I go out into the street, there isn't a religious fanatic telling my children that they're going to go to hell? Is it wrong for me to want a world where, when my child goes to school, isn't insulted by children of religious people judging and insulting my child because of different beliefs? Because that is EXACTLY what happened when I was young. I AM sensible and logical. The indoctrination of children is a dangerous thing. And yes, I understand that my statement was very generalized and could have been misinterpreted. My poor choice of words, and I apologize. Let me rephrase it: We need to get rid of all religions causing harm to this world. I want my child to grow up in a world that's not stupid and judgmental. And yes, I know this is a late response.

Let me explain something, calling people stupid for haveing a different view than your own is bigotry and a little fascist. Calling for the banning of religions is not only a horrific violation of civil rights but is EXTREMELY bigoted. Thats as bad as saying we should ban gays or blacks. And quite frankly, i think the atheist on the internet are more annoying and mean spirited than a nut case over religious guy because there is a hypocrisy that goes with it, and its really bad on this site. If i said we should ban atheist, my ass would be banned from any IP resembling this one.

Personally, i have no real beef with atheist,some good friends of mine are secular, but my god, some of you just make it to where NO one want to be you guys. Logical thinking? yeah right. If you want to be logical, actually be logical and respectful.

And i know im ranting and sounding kind of douchey, but these forums need to straighten up there attitude if anyone want to take them seriously.Cause right now, i rather hang out on /b/ with some rational thought.

First off, let me just thank you for reading my entire post. It's good to know that there are some religious people out there willing to listen to the other side. So calling people stupid for having different views than myself is bigotry... So... I'm being a bigot because I think that Hitler was a douche, right? I mean, he thought white people should rule the earth. But hey, we're all different, right? By your logic, aren't you practicing hypocrisy in saying that you think people on these forums are annoying and mean spirited? And I did not say I want a ban on religion. Quite the contrary. I LOVE the idea of religious freedom. I want to get rid of religion by having people actually NOT BELIEVE in religion out of choice, not banning it. Just like how no one believes in the Greek gods anymore. Sure, people can, but no one does. People just got rid of the notion that the Greek gods were real. And no, even if I were saying that we should ban religion, which I'm not, to compare that to banning blacks and gays is a severe logical fallacy, as blacks and gays are real, and God is not, until proven otherwise. Which brings me to you last statement: If you think God is real, well then, good for you, for, if you are Christian, you believe in a god that condones slavery, sexism, gay hate, etc., and if you're Muslim, you believe in a god that condones slavery, sexism.......yeah.... No it's not hypocrisy by saying i think people (not all) on these forums are annoying and mean spirited because thats a factual observation that is not exclusive to any one ethnic group or race. it's an observation of people in general.
Also, if that was your view point of religion in the first place, then why do you say 'Ban religions', thats not even remotely the same, not even in the same ball park. Also Not all religions are based on a god, and you cannot prove god isnt real. As a 'logical thinker' you may disagree with the idea but acknowledge there is not way to prove nor disprove.

Well, no. Hitler is not universally considered a douche. That's why there are the Neo-Nazis. It's a generally accepted fact, but to say universal is quite broad. And not once did I mention anything about religion being banned. If you'd read my posts, which, apparently, you haven't, you'd know that. I said we should get rid of religion. Religion as in beliefs. Get rid of beliefs that have no evidence to support. And you're absolutely correct. I cannot, nor, to my knowledge, can anyone else to this day, prove that a god does or does not exist. But that doesn't mean we should make up stuff to fill in the blanks. And pointing out what the bible says is bigotry? I'm going to assume you're Christian since you did mention the bible. Exodus 21, 22, and 23, God mentions things about condoning slavery, killing witches, giving him everyone's first sons, and sacrificing the best fruits and liquor, among other things. If you want more examples, I would be happy to oblige, as there are MANY. And that thing about Greek Gods: yes, there are people who believe. But very few. Nonetheless, it was a bad example. I will retract that example, and I will in it's stead use the "children's belief in the tooth fairy before they outgrew it" example. And yes, religion has, indeed, in some ways, advanced human culture. But it has just as much done the opposite as well.
