Crazy people at arcades...

Often, I see some kids who might be asylum escapees when they went to play at an arcade. They tend to take the games TOO seriously (reacts like they gets hurt, when they get shot) and often swears compulsively and screams unintelligible insults "SOYMILK WATERMELON PENIS CRUNCHER!" at the screen. Do you encounter these people at arcades?

I have encountered people of who you speak. I also beat ones score on House of The Dead III and the stupid guy actually was trying to pick a fight with me. I'm a girl mind you, and I don't think that was called for. Kept shouting profanities at the gun, saying it wasn't working properly. -.-

Really? You guys never see many arcades? I see large arcades practically everywhere. In malls, restaurants, bars, and even one in a barbershop! Not just one machine, but huge arcades!

In arcades, or at least the one that's in a mall I'd go to (that is about to shut down since nobody shops there anymore), I used to see grown men (like ages 25+) play Dance Dance Revolution on the hardest mode and they would be picking the hardest songs... Sometimes when they wanted to show off, they'd jump over the safety bar to start dancing, then just stomp like crazy on the arrows. I lol'd every time a guy would fail to do good on a song after jumping.

I go to arcades all the time, And i may utter "oh you bastard" when i got shot in-game, But where else can i get my TC2 fix?

Its wrong when you can fire the pistol at near machine gun speeds, because you've played it that much.

I haven't been to an arcade in a looooooong time. People did seem to take stuff a bit too seriously though, I remember when I was a kid and this one guy started getting super pissed when I beat him in marvel vs capcom. My dad had to come over and threaten to kick his ass to get him to leave me alone.

Well all you're doing is running into people in the age group of 12-14, or the "Little Fuckin ****" stage. It sometimes stays with them throughout high school, at least until someone eventually beats the shit out of them.

Kids need to be hit.

I actually met my Wife at the local arcade. Of course that arcade is closed now.

That sucks. =/ I really don't know why people act that way though when the get beaten. If they're so upset they should practice more or whatever. But he most likely would have hit me if it wasn't for a couple of my guy friends getting in his face to leave me alone. xD He ended up beating my score a week or two later though anyway. Haven't played it since actually.
