Crazy Prepared

My most recent trip to TvTropes (due to someone on this site linking to it) resulted in reading some interesting Crazy Prepared tales.

Which only made me think about my own.

I always carry with me: duct tape, Swiss Army Knife, an 8 in 1 screwdriver, a small bracelet that extends to 2 meters of rope, a ruler, sterile bandages, drugs for every ocassion from nausea to headache (the being sick ones not illegal ones), lighter with small flashlight (I'm a smoker), pen, paper, cellphone, I have a wrist watch with an integrated camera and USB, batteries, snacks, bottle of water, a 64 GB USB drive, with installed software, a compass, small scissors, calcium vials and a small umbrella.

Are you crazy prepared for anything and what do you carry with you at all times?

Lollipops for when my nieces pop round. Otherwise I have a few tins of baked beans and some soups in the cupboard for when the world ends in 2012.

My mother f***ing libary card! ...I need it to log into the computers.

On a general trip out of the house with no pre-determined destination I will always purchase a Red Bull and some chocolate from my local shop before leaving my street.

Crazy prepared... Hmm.. Does applying for a Clubcard at every Coffee Bar I go to count? I have about 7 in my wallet now just in case I go back there, which I often do..

In my car I have the following:
2x LED flashlights (with extra batteries)
A complete tool set (wrenches, pipes and the works)
An unopened pack of cigarettes
Swiss army knife (the rally big version)
An all purpose knife
Duckt tape
5meters of rope
5 different lubricant/rust dissolver aerosoles
Spare tire
20kg bag of roadsalt
My trusty Zombie Supression Tool (homemade medieval style mace)

I have been thinking about getting a Jerry can of gasoline, some cans of food and a 10liter bottle of water.

Isen't that a little cubersome to be carrying around?

Actually most of those items are small and portable, I have large pockets and I almost always carry a backpack. They all came in handy one time or another too so I keep carrying them.

I used to have this insane swiss army knife with a fucking axehammer on one end that I carried around everywhere on the off chance I was attacked be a bear or something. I got rid of it when I noticed a distinct lack of bears in the irish countryside.
And also when I realised it would probably be less cumbersome to just try and knut every attacker to death.

I may have the physical potency of an eighty year old man but that eighty year old man might be some sort of crazy hermit monk.

I have a mini maglite (torch) on my keyring. Thats about it, I travel light.
