I'm extremely bored at the moment so I decided to make a topic on strange things you do when you're bored. For example, 5 minutes ago I re-enacted the "Old Time Rock N' Roll" scene from Risky Business because there was nothing on TV.

And just to clarify, this is crazy things you do when you're bored, so don't write "I read a book" or "I post on the Escapist"

Well, considering I just spent about an hour competing with several people to see who could throw more cards into a large tophat across the room, I'm gonna have to say....that.

When I'm listening to music and I'm bored I coreograph things to it in my head. Like for Lady Gaga's "Teeth" I had a tied up Gengar being subjected to the S&M-like desires of a Dominatrix Pidgeot who then wished for the same thing to be done to him by 6 Honchkrows, everything growing more frantic and intense as the music swelled. It was like a sexy bondage musical... with Pokemon.

No dancing though. I'm so self-concious about dancing, I can't even do it alone. And I must emphasise, I only do this when alone. I wouldn't even sing, but I've had training and know it sounds ok

Well, yes. I'd been playing it all day it was kinda in my head. You asked...

It's not crazy, but like to put on a scarf, lay on the floor next to a wall, and have my legs up on the wall. I'll stay like that for a while. Sometimes I'll paint my toes while there, take pictures of random things, or doodle on my thighs. Actually, that is a little weird.

I do that when I'm driving or I'm in the shower and it's almost always to Lady Gaga music.

I do that when I'm driving or I'm in the shower and it's almost always to Lady Gaga music.

Lately, that's where my mind's been drifting when I let it. When I listen to music and my mind wanders it usually just creates a scene it feels is appropriate for whatever I'm listening to. Its like a movie theatre in my head just for me so I can rest my feet on the seats infront.

I have two things I usually do when bored.

The first is I try to climb on any surface possible and hang upside down from it (support beams, tree limbs, gazebos) whatever holds my weight.

The second is I break into song and dance numbers at random (usually 70's power ballads or 50's showtunes) in the hopes that one day a small passing crowd of professional dancers will stop and begin following my choreography while a live band begins playing the beat.

Most of my friends try to shy away from me when I'm bored.
