Create a game offline (course work help)

hay i just got the first assignment for my games development course, and its got me stumped
i need to create a non computer based game
it has to be:
original
imaginative
short (around 20 mins or less to play)
made without the use of a computer!!!
im a little stumped
i had the idea of getting a jigsaw cutting it up and doing like a combo related puzzle with the peices.
but thats not really all that fun :p
id love to hear your ideas please!
id be vy thankfull :D

Yeah, do your own assignment if you care about the course that much. You can't really on other people if you are serious about making games.

tbh this is just kidna a little excersize its not anything to do with the actualy course
im kinda allready done with my idea but i was kinda curiouse what you guys would thinck off.
also this course is an over view of litraly everything to do with the creative side of games development, this isnt really my strong point ;) im more storyline development and music :p
thank of it as asking your family for help with homework :p
only your familys a thousand strong forum of gaming mad lunitics :p

Offline development is actually an important part of game development. Systems can be prototyped and tested with very little investment of time or resources. Generally, the development of such a game has little to do with narrative; instead, you are trying to develop a system of rules that results in an enjoyable experience.

All you need to do here is pick a premise - say a game about surviving a zombie apocolypse. Then picke a method of arbitration, such as dice or cards. Then determine how a player can reach an end state either through failure (the fail state) or victory (a win state). From there, protyping rules is easy enough. Once a rough system is in place, simply get a group of friends together and explain the rules of the game and play a few rounds. These play sesssions will help refine the experience. If it takes to long, reduce some of the overhead (excessive dice rolling for example). It also helps identify logical flaws in your rule set that you'll want to iron out before you turn it in.

I can offer no help beyond this as anything more would result in my designing a game for you.

tbh i thinck this stage is litraly just...make a board game sorta thing. im quite good at developing things with a computer :p
ive actualy pretty much finished my board game now
ive made 2
one is simler to the sorta thing uve suggested i made a basic rpg to encorperate all these elements
the other is simler to what i posted in my question
