Well I came up with an idea for a chainsaw with knives and I've seen concept art for a rocket propelled chainsaw that blows up and its launcher so... COMBINE THOSE IDEAS TO MAKE THE RPKNIVESAW-L. I bet it would be hard to load though.

For a game like Fallout New Vegas: The Glitch gun.
It's an ordinary looking gun; but if you shoot someone they start to glitch out, like getting stuck in the floor, Exploding grenades in their hands when trying to throw, Firing behind themselves when using a gun; that sorta thing. could be quite funny i reckon?

As a general concept: A gun that shoots large furry black Spiders at people. Like big-ass Black Widows. It's not good for the danger value....it's good for the scare the shit out of arachnophobes (like myself) value.

haven't read everyone else's so I don't know if it's already here but I'd go for a gun that fires mimes. Yes mimes. That way they could make invisible walls for me when I need to make my escape.

Kinda bizarre thread, but hey, I'll bite...

Ok, some sort of gravity gun that inverts gravity for the target, sending enemies either a) smashing head first into the ceiling (if used indoors) or b) soaring skyward (if used outdoors), at which point the gravity could be reversed again...

I would use this weapon on anyone who failed to see its comic genius. Unless they had wings - then it'd be kinda pointless.

I hope no-one said this, but they had something like this in Armed and Dangerous. It's called a topsy-turvy mine, it's a large screw that you jam into the ground, it flips gravity while you hold onto it, and everyone else gets launched straight up, then down.
