Regarding the Turian:
Technically Overload is a Tech ability and since you're wanting each Specter to be one of the pure classes, Overload would be unavailable to him. Concusive shot would work fine, though. However I think I've got a better set-up for him that would really set him apart. Indeed, Turianas do appreciate precision (which is why Garrus insists on doing so many calibrations to the main gun) however it's also been mentioned that they're not afraid to zerg either: crush your foes beneath overwhelming force. As such I think that rather than having Concussive Shot, we should hook him up with Carnage to handle the theme of "over whelming force". For the theme of precision, bring back the Mass Effect 1 sniper ability: Assassinate. You get a single shot at like, 500% regular damage. And for both the theme of precision AND overwhelming force: keep Marksmenship.

Regarding the Asari:
I do wish that Dominate made it back into this game...that was arguably the best ability in ME 2, especially if you turn it into an AoE. Nothing like watching 3 collectors turn on Harbinger and start shooting him in the back! So I agree, giving the Asari Specter Dominate would be a nice addition. I'm thinking she should be pure offense, though, as Asari Biotic Commandos are considered to be some of the most feared and powerful enemies on the battlefield. As such I think they should give her an ability that isn't in MP yet: Slam. Also it'd be nice to give her Javik's ability: Dark Channel. I think this combination would make any Cerberus, Reaper, or Geth unit give pause before attacking her haphazardly.

Regarding the Salarian:
Unfortunately Neural Shock already is in this game...it's the top option in Overload's "choice" skills. When I play a character with Overload, I always go straight across the top with all 3 options. Chain Overload, Neural Shock (mmakes it so that Overload now stuns organics and synthetics...making it just ridiculous), and Even Moar Chain-Overload. I really think that Decoy is arguably the best ability in MP, so I'd let him keep that from the standard Salarian Engineer class. Perhaps give him a Salarian Turret that has weapons and upgrades we haven't seen. Perhaps it's lvl 6 upgrade could be picking between more damage/shields or upgrading the turret to shoot out little Scorpion sticky bombs. The lvl 5 upgrade could be picking whether you want it to be able to fire out Arc-type electric rounds or (since I've always wanted a Medic class), upgrading the turret so that when a squadmate is near it it'll actually start to heal missing life-bars the way the Geth Turret replenishes shields. The first option would be a choice between more shields/damage for the turret and the flamethrower attachment (though it only deals 60 dps rather than the 90+ from the Geth and Quarian turrets). 3rd ability would be Energy Drain.

At least that's how I'd see the Specter units being built.

The Turian:

I'd say that the army as a whole COULD overpower another enemy force, but the individual seems to be more focused on precision. I'm well aware that Overload is a Tech power, but what I neglected to do after I had to retype this is say that Overload would be a good choice if you wanted to put it in the Infiltrator class since there's already a Turian in the Soldier class. I also looked into the old ME1 "talent" tree, but unfortunately they're mostly passive stuff that don't really come off as being "attacks" for lack of a better word. I still say giving them a grenade type would be a good idea.

The Asari:

I thought Slam was also a good candidate, but felt Dominate and Barrier fit better as setting the stage for a either a good Tank-y class or a good CC class. But I wanted to hold back on Javik's powers since I'm still holding out for maybe them adding Prothean classes to multiplayer.

The Salarian;

Yeah, I goofed on Neural Shock. I forgot about that, even though I ALWAYS choose it with Overload. Salarians don't seem to dig turrets much, but putting in Decoy wouldn't be too bad of an idea, but I held back on it because the other Salarian classes already have it. Making a kind of deployed apparatus that heals WOULD be an interesting idea, but the execution would be a big hassle. You wouldn't want a Class with a Turret AND a Decoy, just seems like a little too much. Engineer classes seem to really fall into "deployable", Overload (or Overload adjacent), then Incinerate. I would like to see something a little more unique, but Decoy plus Overload seems solid, only question is that last one.

First of all, I wouldn't hold your breath for Protheans making it into Multiplayer...seeing as how there's only supposed to be one in the entire galaxy.

As for the Turian, that's why I gave him Marksmenship (power + accuracy), Carnage (power), and Assassinate (accuracy). His weapon specializations would be Assault Rifles and Sniper Rifles, I think he'd really be an avatar of the ideal Turian soldier.

Don't think the Asari should be looked at as a tank, especially if she is to be just a straight up Adept. I think she should be specced for maximum biotic damage output, reminding our enemies why the Asari are to be feared. Dark Channel is one of the most ridiculously overpowered attacks in single player, so I'd give it to her. Slam is just fun to use...reminds me of the sith Crush ability from KotOR II :3. And yeah, no one can complain about Dominate...except for the fact that said ability would be utterly useless when you're fighting the Geth. That in mind, perhaps giving her the tried-and-true Warp would be a good idea. That or you can never go wrong with Stasis.

The Salarian definitely seems to be the trickiest of the bunch to make him unique...mostly because there's not really that many tech abilities to begin with, and the Salarian Engineer's already got 2 of the best ones as it is: Decoy and Energy Drain. We could give him Kasumi's Flashbang Grenade from ME 2, that was a decent little attack. I still say he should keep Decoy just because it's so god damn useful. How about some kind of trap? Like a proximity mine only a lot better. Starts out the same: just something you shoot out that does direct damage, but you can start upgrading it to do elemental damage/have other effects. Level 4 could be more damage or more range, level 5 could be cryo effect or incinerate effect, level six could be a lift effect or a throw effect (super knock-back). It's not necessarily a deployable since it's gone once it detonates, and rather than it being a straight-up power like the proximity mine, it would use grenade slots.

I just with Barrier got more love. It's a super useful ability to a Biotic class, and it kind of got shafted in the Multiplayer. Who knows, maybe there will be a new character that will come along and use it and not just the Krogan Vanguard. Dark Channel seems like an ability that shouldn't be given out to just anyone. Like it's a power that should only be given to Protheans. Might just be me. But for Dominate, I'm sure there's a secondary effect you could give it that would make it useful against Geth, kind of like how Sabotage has that "blowback" effect that makes it useful against organics. Warp is just great, so I don't think anyone could have a criticism for it.

Turian: Not really, Assassinate isn't necessarily an "altered state" ability. It gives you a single shot that deals super damage, really it's more like a direct-damage attack like Carnage than an altered state like Marksmen.

Asari: Pffft, Barrier's lame, but that's just me thinking the Asari would be much better used as DPS than trying to tank. Why be an Asari Specter tank when I can just go Krogan Vanguard and wreck EVERYTHING? Which, by the way, is why I think it was a mistake to make a Krogan Vanguard...it's like "Yeah, we're not even gonna fight it anymore. We know what you all do with the Vanguard, now we've streamlined that process for you." So you've already got a super-tank, that's why you gotta go full-out Biotic DPS. Warp, Slam, Dark Channel for me.

Salarian: That's pretty much what I said: it's hard to come up with a good super Salarian seeing as how the standard Salarian is already a badass. So keep Decoy, give him Overload, and as a new original move, some kind of deployable that buffs the group (kinda like the Biotic dome from the Justicar). Make the Salarian's increase damage reduction, reload speed, and just for something neat: dispenses ammo every 10 seconds or something.

Vorcha Soldier

Heavy melee: Bite - If three enemies are bitten to death within a span of 40 seconds, the Vorcha enters Gluttony mode, the Bite melee now becomes the "Crunch Om Nom Nom" melee.

Powers:

Brain Shutdown - The Vorcha shuts down most of his brain and battles completely on instict alone. Enhances all stats, but impairs accuracy and loses the ability to complete any objectives and to revive squadmates while power is active.

Inferno grenade.

Carnage.

Varren Vanguard (I miss that cute little bugger who kept following me on Tuchanka)

Heavy melee: Biotic rear legs Horse kick. (Strongest melee in the game)

Powers:

Predator - The varren's predatorial instincts take over and all enemies become visible through walls. (Geth hunter mode)

Biotic Charge (A Salarian experiment succesfully managed to give a Varren L2 biotic implants)

Nova Roar - A Biotic Fus Ro Dah which incapitates enemies at close range and gives them 60 damage per second.

Fastest character in the game and has regular Biotic barriers, but cannot operate any weapons save an automated sentry turret strapped to its back.
